Hey there! I’m Kate. Fitness and nutrition has been a part of my life ever since I was a young girl. I would watch my mom leave for her Jazzercize classes in her little leotard and thought she was just just the coolest. She set the example for me and put her fitness first so that she could take care of her family.
This is how I came to earn my BS degree in Health and Fitness from East Carolina University. I have always loved a physical challenge and encouraging others to push themselves! I was a personal trainer for several years and learned so much in that field.
Fast forward to now! I’m a stay-at-home Mama and make time to do in home workouts. I have lost 50 lbs with my nutrition plan and daily workouts. I would love to link arms with you on your fitness journey! All levels are welcome! I have something for everyone. Make the mental switch and say yes to a new you!
I offer brief counseling and prescription medication management with a focus on emotional and physical wellness.
I am a 2007 graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant Program and a 2005 graduate of Elon University with a BA in Psychology. I worked in Radiation Oncology before becoming a Psychiatric PA.
My areas of experience and interest include General Psychiatry, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Substance Abuse/Dependence and caring for those with serious medical illnesses and for their loved ones.
